MetroSquash Saddle and Cycle Club Event

MetroSquash – Back in the Swing of Things – Nov 18 Event!

We are very excited to be back with safe in-person programming this fall! It is a true joy to see our students back in the classrooms and on the squash courts. We thank you for your continued and generous support over these past 18 months. It has helped our team continue to provide essential scholarship support, best-fit high school and post-secondary access, and first class academic, enrichment, and athletic programming.

We look forward to hosting many in-person programming events safely this fall, including try-outs on October 16 and 23. Vaccinated volunteers are welcome to attend in person.

Outdoor Squash

“The steel court plays like a dream,” says Arnie Dratt, President of the PSA Foundation and the pied piper leading local, national, and international squash community and culture builders to make outdoor squash dreams come true in Chicago and beyond.

Arnie flew in from Chicago to test drive the True court in Maspeth, Queens, NYC, and meet with Janet Hanson, Sari Chang, Jeff Anschlowar, and Robert Gibralter. Special thanks to the PSA Foundation for building teams and raising funds to build outdoor squash courts.

Maspeth Squash and @jacobschangarch are working on ‘functional art” – a very special design and build project for Chicago with @bulleyandrews1891 and MetroSquash, University Club of Chicago, LakeShore Sport & Fitness, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Squash Para Todos, Illinois Squash board and city leaders to bring this civic advocacy project dream to life in a very special setting as a ‘Beacon’ for squash outdoors!

Support and donations are appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible.

DONATE TO THE PSA FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT OUTDOOR SQUASH. Accessibility has been a top priority for the future of our sport for some time. Now, with outdoor squash, we have more ideas, possibilities, and opportunities. The PSA Foundation is taking a lead to raise funds and invest in building outdoor courts. A very exciting project is underway in Chicago, a first-of-a-kind outdoor squash attraction that will be accessible to neighbors and international visitors, and a beacon lighting the way for future building projects. Many players have asked how they might help. This is a great way.
